Why, Hello
Making memories with those I love most is one of the greatest joys of my life. Bottling Memories began as a way to document my travels and share recommendations with friends, rooted in the belief that travel allows us to capture unforgettable moments we can "bottle" forever. Twenty years from now, I know I will remember hiking the rugged "wild" sections of the Great Wall with my husband, or the day our two daughters stood face-to-face with the famous cast of a dog in Pompeii.
Over time, the joy I found in discovering new places was matched by the joy of planning the journey itself. Transitioning from traveler to professional advisor was a natural step after years of curating intricate, multi-city, and multi-generational trips for my own family.

My approach to travel is shaped by a career dedicated to the art of the experience. I founded and built a premier luxury spa in Seattle from a "grey shell," overseeing every architectural detail to create a farmhouse modern sanctuary that prioritized intentionality and guest connection. By the time I transitioned that business to a private investment group, it had reached the top 25% of its industry—a success built entirely on an obsession with the small details, things like the perfect tea or surprising a guest with a birthday cake.

That same commitment to excellence is backed by an MBA from Rice University and a career spent managing high-level marketing and global brands. These experiences taught me that a truly seamless experience requires both a creative vision and meticulous logistical precision.

Having traveled extensively around the world, I love the balance of adventure and indulgence. I love the thrill of an undiscovered excursion but I believe in returning to a place of luxurious respite. For me, luxury isn’t just a brand name; it’s about finding those hand-picked gems and secluded escapes that offer something truly rare. And of course, excellent food and wine are always a priority on my itinerary.

At Bottling Memories, I combine this professional rigor with a deep passion for hospitality. I believe luxury is found in the details, and I am dedicated to ensuring your most precious asset—your time—is handled with the expertise it deserves.

travel style
My travel style has changed over the years. Like many families with children, the focus when we travel now is immersing ourselves in cultural experiences. Whether it's a food tour in Modena, a private guide in Kyoto to Arashimyama and the Bamboo Forest, or a cooking class in Tuscany, these "Bottled Memories" will be lifelong gifts for the family. I love hotels that offer a luxurious experience. At the end of a long day exploring, I just want to be able to walk into a hotel that is beautiful, relaxing, with impeccable service. I also have a love of food and wine so our travels always include restaurants that offer interesting experiences like world renowned Noma in Copenhagen or a speakeasy bar like L'Escamoteur in Kyoto.
