Do people still use travel agents?

The short answer is yes.  Since the pandemic, there has been a resurgence of the use of travel agents.  People are increasingly time constrained, and the time it takes to research and craft a luxury vacation is often a significant investment of time.  Our clients value their time and have outsourced the trip planning they simply to not have time to do.

What hotel and partner affiliations do you have?

Our partner affiliations include Virtuoso perks and benefits, Leading Hotels of the World (LHW), Four Seasons Preferred Partner, Rosewood Elite, Hyatt Prive, Marriott Stars and Luminous, and others.

Why would I use your company to book a hotel reservation when I can get the same perks using my credit card travel portal such as AMEX platinum?

While some credit card companies may offer similar perks such as complimentary breakfast, when a hotel partner like Bottling Memories Travel book for clients, we are prioritized over credit card programs.  We get better room upgrades and are prioritized for VIP client treatment.  Some of our preferred partner benefits may also be better than what a credit card program can offer.

What will your services cost?

​

If you are looking for us to help suggest and book hotels or cruises, the service is complimentary and does not cost you anymore than booking yourself or on a platform like Expedia.  If you are looking for a full service itinerary design, we charge $100 per travel day.  For example, a one week customized trip to Rome and Florence would cost $700 which may include us arranging car service, train tickets, private guide, restaurants reservations, and museum tickets.  This cost does not include the cost of the actual tickets/guide/meal.

Can I still get loyalty points for the hotels which I am a member at (i.e. Marriott, Hyatt, IHG)?

Yes, if you book hotels with me, you can continue to earn hotel points as we can input your loyalty number when making reservations.  In addition, you will get complimentary hotel perks such as upgrades, breakfast, and hotel credits that you can use at the spa or restaurant.

Can you help me book hotels using points?

​

​No, unfortunately we do not assist with booking hotels using your accrued hotel points.  

​

Do you book flights as part of your service?

​

We only assist our clients in booking business class or first class flight tickets.
